Self-proclaimed film critic and actor Kamaal R Khan on Tuesday was arrested by Malad Police in connection with the controversial tweets he posted against late Bollywood actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan in 2020. KRK 2020 tweets came back to haunt the actor-critic at a time when his multiple videos have been doing rounds on social media especially his reviews on Aamir Khan starter Laal Singh Chaddha. Now, in the latest development, Kamaal R Khan has been sent to 14 days of judicial custody after he was arrested by the Malad Police.

Kamaal R Khan famously known as KRK was presented before the Borivali court and following that he was sent to 14 days of judicial custody. KRK on Tuesday was arrested by Malad Police following a controversial tweet made by him in 2020. At first, KRK was detained at the airport and was arrested post questioning. The complaint was filed against Kamaal R Khan at Malad Police Station. KRK was arrested following his questionable tweets about Irrfan and Rishi Kapoor in 2020. The complaint was filed by Yuva Sena member Rahul Kanal. He will be produced today in Borivali court today, August 30.

Rahul Kanal was quoted by India Today saying, "Kamal R Khan has been arrested today on my complaint. I welcome this move by Mumbai police. He makes derogatory comments on social media and uses foul language. Such kind of behavior is unacceptable in society. By arresting him, Mumbai police has sent out a strong message against such people."
