In a proud moment for India, Ludhiana-born model Raisin Saini recently won a top model competition organized by My Dream TV channel in Boston, USA. Raisin Saini was crowned winner of the competition by none other than Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu herself. Granddaughter of retired teacher Vijay Laxmi and businessman Tilak Raj Sachdeva, Raisin went to the United States to pursue higher education in medical science and reportedly serves as a doctor now. Interestingly, Raisin has already lodged her name in the history books by becoming the first Indian to be crowned Miss World America.

Furthermore, Saini was the first runner-up in the Miss World 2021 competition, and not only this but she was also chosen as the Beauty with a Purpose Ambassador. Saini has been making a huge buzz with her achievements as she won the hearts of many when she walked on the ramp of the widely acclaimed and followed New York Fashion Week. Saini walked for famous Indian designers Archana Kochhar and Anaya collection during New York Fashion Week that was held at the hall of mirrors in New York City, USA. For the unversed, the Ludhiana-born model is not only a model but also an actress, dancer, and social media influencer who is currently living in Manhattan, New York. Notably, she was also a ramp walk model for New York Fashion Week(September 2021, and February 2022 shows).

After the US top model honour, Saini had took to her Instagram and wrote, "Honored to win MyDream Next Top Model NE 2022 Thank you @missuniverse 2021 @harnaazsandhu_03 for presenting me with the award. It was so inspiring to talk to you about your journey and the work that you have been doing. A big shoutout and gratitude to the event producers who made this event a success.
