The Ludhiana District Administration on Friday denied the claims that a clean chit has been given to Industrial Units in the Ludhiana Gas Leak case. As per the information received, the District Administration it has not given anyone the clean chit in the Ludhiana Gas Leak case and the NGT panel will meet next week to determine the source of the gas leak. Furthermore, it was clarified that the investigation into Ludhiana Gas Leak is still underway, and the Magisterial inquiry is considering all aspects based on sample reports.

Notably, the district administration's clarification comes after multiple reports suggested that the Magisterial inquiry has been concluded and the Industrial units have been given clean chit in the devastating Ludhaian Gas leak case which claimed 11 lives. Furthermore, it was reported that 11 people died due to the poisonous leak of the gas- hydrogen sulphide and carbon monoxide. The reports further suggested that there was no evidence found against Industrial Units dumping industrial/chemical wastes in sewers.
