A case of raping a girl has come to light in a hotel located on Chandigarh Road in the area of Police Division No 7 in Ludhiana. The accused also recorded a video of the victim after the rape, took indecent images of her, and shared it online.
The accused has been identified as Gurdeep Singh alias Dimple resident of Naginder Nagar street no 1 Raho Road. She works at Mission Fashion on Kailash Nagar Road, the girl told the police. Gurdeep Singh, the accused, also works there. The accused, according to the girl, calls her frequently.
The girl told that the accused took her to a hotel located on Chandigarh Road 32 Sector. The accused raped her there and started threatening the girl to keep quiet. On July 14, the accused called the girl to the same hotel and began extorting her once more.
The girl told that the accused threatened to make her video and obscene photos viral on social media. The girl claims that the defendant blackmailed her into performing another rape on her. Additionally, the accuser spread her picture on social media. Police have filed a complaint under section 376 IPC and 67 IT Act against the accused Gurdeep Singh.
