Dilroz Murder Case Explained

Notably, during the Police investigation, Dilroz's father had told in his statement that he used to bring toys and things from the market for his daughter. Neelam was divorced. Therefore, she was not able to bring all these things for her children. Due to this, she started harboring a grudge against Dilroz. After this, one day she took Dilroz on a scooter and buried her alive. This was the reason of her death.

After Dilroz went missing, her family lodged a Police complaint. Thereafter, Police reached the spot to investigate and check CCTV cameras in the area. During this, the police saw that Neelam was taking the girl on the scooter. As a result, Neelam was arrested.

During police interrogation, Neelam confessed to the murder of Dilroz. She told the police that she took Dilroz to an empty place near Aldico. There she buried her alive. After this revelation by Neelam, the police and family reached the place and recovered the girl from the pit.

Dilroz was immediately taken to DMC hospital, but doctors declared her dead. Then a case was registered against Neelam under IPC section 364 (kidnapping with intent to murder), murder (302), and destroying evidence (201).
