In a horrific development, a woman hailing from Ludhiana was brutally assaulted and stripped in the field of Kartarpur late at night by a group of 3 men. The woman was not only brutally beaten but also filmed on camera by a group of men. Later, the group of men who assaulted and stripped her in the field uploaded the video on social media, and on Tuesday (January 23, 2024) it came under the Jalandhar Police scanner. There were a total of two undated videos of the woman being beaten in the field that came under the Jalandhar Police scanner.
In the horrific video, the woman kept on crying and pleading to leave her. Not only this, the woman painfully kept on pleading that the men could take her money but leave her. However, the men kept on molesting and assaulting her. Police investigation has revealed that these videos were made late at night in a field near Kartarpur. However, it has not been revealed yet when these videos were made. The woman has also not filed any complaint at any police station.
The woman in the video revealed that she was a resident of Ludhiana and she had just come to meet a man named Jagga. After the viral video came under the scanner, Ramamandi police station started an investigation. Preliminary investigation has revealed that both the videos were made in the area of Kartarpur police station. Kartarpur Police has been informed about the objectionable video.
Notably, a few transgenders stated that the accused who brutalized the woman also beat them up and threatened to kill them. On Tuesday, the transgenders created a ruckus outside Ramamandi police station. While talking to the media, the transgenders stated that a man named Jagga, a resident of Kartarpur, is giving death threats. Sub Inspector Arun Kumar posted at Ramamandi police station reportedly said that the woman was assaulted in the Kartarpur area. The youths who beat up the transgenders have been called to the police station. After the investigation, the police will take further action.
