Madhuri Dixit led The Fame Game becomes most viewed Indian show in first week viewership , fans can’t wait for Season 2

As evergreen superstar Madhuri Dixit makes her OTT debut, show makes waves around the digital world. The show surpasses several Indian originals in the first week viewership.

'The Fame Game', show led by Madhuri Dixit is making news in the digital world as the show becomes the no. 1 show in the terms of week viewership. This is the highest single week viewership for any Indian show.


The show has taken over Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin’s Looop Lapeta (2.4 million views), Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein (11.2 million views), Raveena Tandon starrer Aranyak (10.3 million views), Kartik Aaryan’s Dhamaka (4.2 million views), Kriti Sanon’s Mimi (9.2 million views), Taapsee Pannu-Vikrant Massey’s Haseen Dilruba (7.3 million views) and Tovino Thomas’ Minnal Murali (5.9 million views).


The show is not making its mark in India but around the world. As if now the show is currently at No. 6 on the Global Top 10 Netflix. The show is also ranked in Top 10 in 16 countries, while at the same time it has not only taken the top spot in India, but in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Mauritius and Sri Lanka too.


Released on February 25, The Fame Game explores the life of Anamika Anand, a well-known superstar whose life is seemingly perfect, until the layers begin to crack. Anamika is suddenly kidnapped and her whereabouts unknown, but the question slowly turns from "Where is Anamika?" to "Who is Anamika?"


As the season 1 finishes on a cliffhanger, fans of the show are looking ahead for the season 2. As of now Netflix has not made any official announcement , but it may look that show may return for season 2 keeping in mind it’s popularity on Netflix.
