
Madhuri Dixit said in a new Instagram postthat her younger son Ryan was ‘heartbroken’ to seepeople suffering from cancer and decided to donate his hair. She shared a videoof him giving away his tresses and called him a hero.
“NOTALL HEROES WEAR CAPES….. But mine did. On the occasion of National Cancer Day on 7th November, I would like to share something really special,” she wrote.
“Ryanfelt heartbroken seeing several folks who were undergoing chemo for cancer.With everything they go through, they lose their hair. My son took a call ofdonating his hair to the Cancer Society. We as parents were thrilled with hisdecision,” she added.
Madhurirevealed that Ryan did not get a haircut for almost two years as he wanted tohelp those suffering from cancer. “As per guidelines, it took him almost 2years to grow the required length of hair. And this was the final step. Here weare today standing proud. @drneneofficial,” she wrote, tagging herhusband Dr. Shriram Nene
Madhuri Dixit'sfriends and fans hailed Ryan for being committed to the noble cause of helpingcancer patients. "Such a beautiful thought...Bless him," wrote ShilpaShetty in the comments section while filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khancommented: "How extremely sensitive and kind."
