In a bizarre development, a man on Tuesday climbed to the top of a 50-foot-high mobile tower and threatened to jump from there in Chandigarh Sector 17. As per reports, The mobile tower belongs to a private company and it is located in Sector 17 behind a bus stand in Chandigarh. The company called the Police and a team of cops have been deployed there. The man has threatened to jump from the tower until his plea is heard. The police are constantly finding out the condition of the young man through drones.

Reports suggest that the man has been identified as Vikram Dhillon and he is a resident of Jind in Haryana. The cops are trying to ask him about his complaint through the speaker. Initial investigation revealed that he had a land dispute in Mansa, Punjab, due to which he took this step. Vikram reached Chandigarh by bus and after getting down at Sector 17 bus stand, he went straight back and climbed the mobile tower.

In view of the youth's threat, the police have also called an ambulance on the spot. At present, the youth is demanding to meet Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. For this, Chandigarh officials are contacting the officials of the Punjab government. It has been about one and a half hours since the youth climbed the mobile tower. As soon as this was discovered, the police sealed the entire area around it. No common man is allowed to go towards the tower.

The man reportedly bought two acres of land in Mansa, Punjab. However, till now he has not got the ownership of it. He has complained about this to Punjab CM Window as well as many high officials. He alleges that no officer is ready to listen to him. This is why he climbed this mobile tower. According to the police, the youth came fully prepared and climbed the tower. He also has a speaker. Apart from this, he also has other equipment so that he can talk below.
