Akali Dal leader and national spokesperson Manjinder Singh Sirsa has made his presence felt in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. The ED on Tuesday recovered the deleted WhatsApp chats of Rhea Chakraborty with drug dealers and handed it over to the CBI and the NCB.

The NCB confirmed the reports and formed a special team to investigate into this matter. If reports are to be true the NCB might take its call by evening whether to register a case under the NDPC act or not. Interestingly, if registered Rhea Chakraborty will be taken into custody.

However, these revelations lead to a new controversy which is Bollywood's link with the Drug cartel. Taking action on it, Akali Dal leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Wednesday wrote a letter to PMO seeking probe in Bollywood-drug cartel nexus.

In interaction with a media organization, Sirsa said that Bollywood and Drug nexus is not new. They made movies like Udta Punjab but apparently it is 'Udta Bollywood'.

On his twitter handle, Sirsa wrote, "Narcotic link surfaced in #SSR case hinting at #RheaChakraborty using & giving drugs to #SushanthSinghRajput I raised voice agnst Bollywood’s pseudo standards on drugs. Many are into drugs & would sell their soul for it."
