As per reports, Matthew Perry died in an apparent drowning incident hours after playing pickleball. As per reports, the 54-year-old actor was found in the jacuzzi at his Los Angeles home on Saturday. Soon after first responders were called to the house for a cardiac arrest. A US media report quoted a source saying that no drugs were found at the scene and that foul play is not suspected at this time.
The report further stated that the Friends actor came home after a two-hour game of pickleball, as he sent his assistant out on an errand shortly thereafter. However, the assistant returned about two hours later, where he discovered Matthew unresponsive and reached out to emergency services.
Notably, the authorities are currently investigating Matthew Perry's cause of death or Matthew Perry's death reason, therefore, the official reason is yet to be revealed. However, it is pertinent to mention here that Matthew Perry's death is somewhat similar to a Bollywood actress named Sridevi's death.
For the unversed, Bollywood actress Sridevi died due to an accidental drowning in a bathtub in her hotel room on February 24, 2018. One more similar fact is Sridevi was 54-years-old, the same as Mathew when she died.
Boney Kapoor, husband of Sridevi, while talking to a news portal had said that Sridevi's death was not natural, however, confirmed that her demise was accidental. "It was not a natural death, it was an accidental death. I had decided not to speak about it because I spoke about it for almost 24 or 48 hours together when I was being investigated and interrogated. In fact, the officers said we had to go through this because there was a lot of pressure from Indian media. And they discovered there was no foul play. I went through all the tests, including lie detector tests and all those things. And then, of course, the report which came clearly stated it was accidental," said Boney Kapoor.
