The British royals are always making headlines with one or the other thing. Since long Meghan Markle has been a buzz from the royal family and this time again she is making news. Meghan has won additional copyright against Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Mail on Sunday, and mail online in relation to the publication of her letter for her father. As per the report of ET, the United Kingdom court has ruled that now Markle solely owns the copyright to the letter she wrote to her father, Thomas Markle. This decision was taken in a remote hearing by London high court.

Earlier, it was claimed that former Kensington Palace Communications chief, Jason Knauf owned a part of the copyright of the letter. According to the UK tabloid, he had seen an early version of the letter and he also played a role in drafting the letter.

Meanwhile, in the recent hearing, Knauf has denied having any part in the drafting of the letter. Now, finally, Meghan has won her privacy lawsuit against the tabloid. To be noted that Meghan had filed a lawsuit against the UK tabloid paper for five of the articles they published in February 2019. The articles had parts of her handwritten letter to her father and were published after her royal wedding with Prince Harry in May 2018. Her father was not present at her wedding.
