The Telegraph reported that after the 2021 interview of Meghan Markle and Prince Charles with Oprah Winfrey, the Duchess of Sussex penned a letter in which she highlighted an 'unconscious bias'. Meghan's letter to Charles was in response to when a senior Royal official had told them that there were 'concerns' with respect to colour of their unborn son's skin. During the interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple had stated that still pregnant with Archie, the “Suits” alum was told her son wouldn’t have a royal title and that they wouldn’t be entitled to security. Following the allegation against the Royal family, King Charles, who was the Prince of Wales wrote to the Duke and Duchess expressing his 'deep concern' and disappointment they made making such huge allegations against the Royal family in the media. Coming back to Meghan Markle's letter to King Charles, the Telegraph reported that the Duchess penned it in response to response from King Charles in which he expressed his sadness over the split within the family.
