When asked about Shahid's Bollywood debut, Mira told that she was 7 years old at the time of the film's release. She was a schoolgirl who doesn't recollect much about her time there, but she did recall that her husband was the 'chocolate boy.' Mira spilled additional beans, revealing that her friend had a crush on the star, which they still joke about. Mira also stated that her favourite Shahid Kapoor film is Chup Chup Ke, and she enjoys seeing his older films.

On the job front, Shahid has begun filming for Raj and DK's action thriller web series, which will be his first step into the world of the digital stream.
The actor is also set to star in the highly anticipated picture "Jersey." The film, which also stars Mrunal Thakur, is a Hindi version of the Telugu movie of the same name. Gowtam Tinnanuri, who also directed the 2019 original, is directing the Hindi remake. The plot revolves around Arjun, a gifted but unsuccessful cricketer who chooses to make a return in his late thirties and play for India in order to fulfil his son's dream. On December 31, 2021, the film will be released.
Aside from that, Shahid Kapoor will star in the next high-octane actioner 'Bull.' Aditya Nimbalkar, who has worked extensively with filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj, makes his directorial debut with this picture. The film is set in the 1980s and is based on true events. It is expected to be released in 2022.
