The much-awaited Mirzapur season 2 web series dropped at Amazon Prime on Friday. The web-series is receiving mixed reviews from the people of India. While some are in awe of the second season, some said Mirzapur 1 was far better.
Before the release of the web series, people started to trend #BoycottMirzapur after star-casts of the web series slammed Sushant's fans. Now, BJP MP from Mirzapur Anupriya Patel has slammed the makers and demanded a thorough probe against the makers of the web-series.
Anupriya took to Twitter and wrote, "माननीय प्रधानमंत्री @narendramodi जी एवं माननीय मुख्यमंत्री @myogiadityanath जी के नेतृत्व में मिर्ज़ापुर विकासरत है।यह समरसता का केंद्र है। मिर्ज़ापुर नामक Webseries के ज़रिए इसे हिंसक इलाक़ा बताकर बदनाम किया जा रहा है।इस सीरीज़ के माध्यम से जातीय वैमनस्य भी फैलाया जा रहा है (Under honorable Prime Minister @narendramodi ji and Honorable Chief Minister @myogiadityanath Mirzapur is in a developing phase. It is a center of harmony. Through Webseries called Mirzapur it is being maligned as a violent locality. Through this series caste based disharmony is also spread.)
"मिर्ज़ापुर ज़िले की सांसद होने के नाते मेरी माँग है कि इसकी जाँच होनी चाहिए और इसके विरुद्ध कार्यवाही होनी चाहिए (As an MP of Mirzapur district, my demand is that it should be investigated and action should be taken against it.), added Anupriya.
