With numerous biopics releasing in 2019 including Thackarey, The Accidental Prime Minister, Modi biopic, a TV series based upon Narendra Modi's life titled "Modi: The Journey Of A Common Man" is all set to release in April on the web platform 'Eros Now'. In the latest development to this TV series, it was revealed that the producers have used a poem penned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 10-episode TV series of Eros Now.

The director of the series Umesh Shukla said he was very impressed by the poems written by Prime Minister Narendra Modi calling them 'thought-provoking' and beautifully written.

"When we were researching on our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we came across beautifully written, thought-provoking poems written by him and felt that we must use one of his poems," he said.

So we used the poem 'Shyam Ke Rogan Rele' and it has turned to be a hummable song."

The director also stated that they have got PM's permission to use it in the upcoming TV series and will release the poem in the form of a hummable song.

The story has a tagline 'You know the leader. But, do you know the man?' which gives an idea of the content of the TV series.

The cast includes Faisal Khan, Ashish Sharma and Mahesh Thakur playing different stages of life of PM Modi.
