After Monatana Husky hunting went viral on social media, a user wrote, "Their FB pages. Such wonderful people. I’m good with hunting. But if you don’t know what you’re hunting you shouldn’t be doing it. And who shoots a pup?!"

The other user answered, "Yes, and minimal. Maybe a fine. Less likely a few days in jail. She could be charged for not having a wolf tag at the time (it’s a dog, but she clearly believed it was a wolf) and for animal cruelty, but prosecutors would have to want to bring the case and they may not care."

Another user expressed her wish to sue her and wrote, "Does anyone know when this was posted? I'm doing research on lost huskies in MT. That was someone's dog. She needs to be charged and civilly sued by the owner as well. Btw she lives in Martin City/Cambridge Falls, MT."
