Montana Woman Husky killing enraged social media with netizens asking the state police to take strict action against her. The Montana woman in her post stated that she went for solo predator hunting for a black bear, however, hunted another predator i.e. baby wolf. However, what she called a baby wolf was none other than a Siberian husky puppy.

As per reports, Amber Rose Barnes pled no contest to a misdemeanor citation of animal cruelty months after her Facebook post last September about having “smoked a wolf pup” ignited a criminal investigation and an avalanche of online hate. The judge, according to TMZ, slapped her on the wrist with a six-month deferred sentence, mandating that she take an online hunter safety class. Barnes will also be barred from using her hunting rifles for the next half-year. The latter aspect of her punishment barely applies. Notably, the Montana hunting season doesn’t open until September.

It is worth noting that Barnes was hit with the animal cruelty charge back in October after the horrific September incident. At that time, she bragged on social media she'd taken down a wild wolf but it was just a domesticated husky that was out in the woods. Not only did she shoot and kill it, but Barnes also took the dog's hide as a trophy which she also posted on social media, drawing the ire of the public. Barnes insisted the animal was acting aggressively when she encountered it and claimed self-defense.
