A horrendous incident has taken place in Gurdaspur, where a mother attacked her 5-year-old son with acid. The Khalsa Aid Federation has taken the responsibility for the treatment of the victim child.
Reportedly, incident has come up from village Qadian, where a 5-year-old son was burnt by his mother by throwing acid on his hands and legs. Jagatjit Singh, President Khalsa Aid Federation said we were informed about this mishap. We went to the victim and took the child to the government hospital, Batala and got him treated by doctors.
Singh has asked the administration to give severe punishment to the mothers who committed such heinous crimes.
Victim's aunt informed media that my sister was married to his brother-in-law, who had three children. My brother-in-law had died some time ago. My sister had an affair with someone with whom she went away and left her two daughters with us and took the son with her. We learnt from someone that she was treating her son very badly. When we visited, the boy's arms and legs were rotten, and one of his arms was broken. I urge the administration to take strict legal action against my sister.
