MTV's rapping reality show Hustle 2.0 started buzzing on social media after its contestant Rapper EPR's rap song slamming the infamous 'Sar Tan Se Juda' went viral on social media. The Kolkata-based rapper's actual name is Santhanam Srinivasan Iyer, however, goes by the stage name of EPR. Rapper EPR composed a new track slamming the rise of religious extremism, especially in the name of the 'Sar Tan Se Juda' slogan. Although EPR has made multiple rap songs on social issues, it is this rap song criticising the 'Sar Tan Se Juda' slogan that has gone viral on social media.

Rapper EPR shared the rap song on his Instagram writing, "Bachao mere desh ko kattarwad ke bhoot see! The soul of Indian culture is unity & peace. Extremism has no place whatsoever." In the viral rap song, rapper EPR can be seen delivering a power pack performance and talking about the controversial the 'sar tan se juda' slogan and the recent killing of Kanhaiyalal, a Hindu tailor in Udaipur. The rapper condemns Kanhaiyalal's murder over his social media post supporting suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma.

Not only this, EPR in his rap also outlined how the murder of Kanhaiyalal was also the murder of all humanity. EPR also slammed the Police for its carelessness, which ignored the threats.

For the unversed, Tailor Kanhaiyalal was murdered by two men at his shop. Allegedly, the men did not like the fact that the tailor supported Nupur Sharma, the suspended BJP MLA, who made statements about Prophet Mohammad on television. The murder was a result of communal extremism and hatred.

Fans demand security for Rapper EPR

As soon as the video went viral on Twitter, fans hailed Rapper EPR and in fact, started demanding security for him from Union Home Minister Amit Shah. One of the users wrote, "Make him famous ... rap song on "sar tan se juda"

Another user wrote, "A Rap song on #KanhaiyaLal who was murdered by 2 muslim extremists."
