India's richest man and business tycoon Mukesh Ambani on Monday said that his Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is the highest payer of GST at more than Rs 67,000 crore.

Speaking at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance, Ambani made the announcement on Monday.

Mukesh Ambani also announced that Saudi Aramco will be taking a 20 percent stake in Reliance's oil-to-chemical business for an enterprise value of $75 billion.

Speaking at the 42nd AGM, Mukesh Ambani also said that Reliance Jio has turned out to become the second-largest operator in the world and the largest in India.

Mukesh Ambani also said Jio Fiber Services will be launched on a commercial basis on September 5, on the third anniversary of Jio's launch. RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani said, "Plan to reach 20 million residences and 15 million business establishments in 1,600 towns."

The RIL Chairman said Reliance Jio's customer base has crossed 340 million users. "We are signing up more than 10 million new customers each month. The potential for growth is immense, and half a billion customers are now well within our reach," Mukesh Ambani.
