Mumbai Police has won the heart of netizens by giving a witty reply to a man asking which sticker is needed if he wants to meet his girlfriend. The tweet went viral and now people are praising Mumbai police for their reply in style.

Ashwin Vinod, a social media user had tweeted about missing his girlfriend after city police had informed that essential stickers are a must and people who are traveling should indicate their essential need by pasting stickers on their vehicle. His tweet read, “@MumbaiPolice what sticker should I use in order to go out and meet my girlfriend? I miss her.”

On this, the Mumbai police amusingly replied, “We understand it’s essential for you sir but unfortunately, it doesn’t fall under our essentials or emergency categories! Distance makes the heart grow fonder and currently, you healthier.”

The Maharashtra government has announced strict restrictions following the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the state. To break the chain of novel coronavirus in the city, Mumbai police have launched a color-coded guide for all. According to this color-coded guide, people must paste Red, green and yellow stickers on their modes of transport as per the essentials or service they need. 

Maharashtra has reported 67,013 fresh coronavirus cases on April 22. On Thursday, Around 568 fatalities were recorded in the state.
