In another alike incident, a traffic policeman of Nagpur was dragged on the bonnet of a car for several meters after he tried to stop the convoy for checking, Reportedly, the incident took place on Sunday in the Sakkardara area of Nagpur, Maharashtra. 

The accused driver was arrested soon after. 

The entire scene of dragging has been caught on the CCTV camera and the video of the same was shared by the Nagpur Police. In the video, the cop can be seen holding on to the car bonnet as the driver kept on driving ruthlessly. However, the cop then falls off after clinging on to the car for some time. 

It is pertinent to mention here, the accused driver not only ram the car into the policeman but also, hit a few vehicles while he was in rush to escape from the spot. In the video, a woman can also be seen falling off a motorcycle after the accused hit it.

Notably, earlier in coronavirus induced lockdown and in October, two similar incidents were reported from Jalandhar and Delhi respectively whereby, both the accused were detained and booked under IPC 307 (attempt to murder) for rash driving. running over a policeman and dragging him for a few metres as the cop tried to stop him.
