
March 4 is observed as NationalSafety Day in India. The main focus of the day is to generate awareness andmake people committed to the safety rules. This includes road safety, workplacesafety, the safety of human health, as well as the environment. The holiday wasinitiated by National Safety Council to generate commitment in the employees towork safely and follow all the safety principles.
The daywas commemorated for the first time in 1972, the same day as the foundation ofthe National Safety Council. This day is celebrated every year with a differenttheme. This year’s theme is ‘Nurture your minds – Develop safety culture’.

Stayup-to-date regarding your surroundings:
Youmust stay updated about your surroundings. Know what is happening around you.If you face a dangerous situation you can escape easily from it.

Alwayskeep your workplace clean. Do your work in a sorted manner. If you are workingon any electronic device maintain the cleanliness there. Keep them dust-free,check them from time to time to avoid any accidents.
