In strict security, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's wife Aliya Siddiqui arrived in Muzaffarnagar CGM court on Friday to record her statement. Earlier, Aliya had filed a case against Nawazuddin and his brothers and mother in Mumbai. Aliya has recorded her statement before a magistrate reiterating her allegation that the actor's brother had molested a family member in 2012.
Circle Officer Girija Shankar Tripathi said that Aliya appeared before the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) court and got her statement recorded under section 164 of the CrPC (recording of confessions and statements) on her complaint against her husband and his four family members.

Meanwhile, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's brother Saifuddin Siddiqui alleged that Aliya was trying to blackmail and extort money from the actor.
Earlier Aliya had alleged that Nawaz used to have women over when she was expecting their first child. She said that most of the information about the actor’s alleged infidelity came from his brother, Shamas.
