NDA government held a meeting just one day before presenting the interim budget to make a strategy to deal with the opposition's questions expected to be raised tomorrow in the discussion over the budget.

However, the surprising element was that Shiromani Akali Dal was absent from the meeting and this gets even more skeptical after a recent controversy among the allied parties.

Shiromani Akali Dal's Rajya Sabha Member and speaker Naresh Gujral said that the Shiromani Akali Dal wanted to attend the meeting but they decided not to be present in the meeting due to RSS' interference in the management of Sikh Gurudwaras.

The dignitaries present in the meeting were PM Narendra Modi, BJP Chief Amit Shah, Senior BJP leader LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and other leaders.
