NDTV's senior journalist Kamal Khan has died of a heart attack in Lucknow

Kamal of 61 years was in journalism for the last 3 decades.

Khan, who lived in Lucknow's Butler Palace Colony, was into TV journalism for a long time. He reported till late at night. Suddenly his health deteriorated in the morning and after a while he died. It is said that he died of a heart attack.

Kamal of 61 years was in journalism for the last 3 decades. He was associated with NDTV for 22 years. His wife Ruchi is also a news channel bureau head in Lucknow. Fellow journalists told that their news had run in the prime time of 7 pm and 9 pm on Thursday. Nagma, who is hosting the prime time show, told that Kamal Khan had spoken on the list of 150 candidates of Congress. Khan had said that this decision of Priyanka will have a long-term impact.

Nagma told that in the night when she was talking to Kamal on the show, his health seemed absolutely fine. He was very careful about his health. She couldn’t believe that after a few she has lost him forever.


Apart from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav and other leaders have also expressed grief on the information of Kamal's death. CM Yogi said that this is an irreparable loss of journalism. Kamal was the fourth pillar and a strong watchdog of impartial journalism. May God God rest his soul in peace.

Many journalists also bid adieu to the home journalist and said they wouldn’t forget him ever.
