Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann appealed to citizens, particularly those living in border districts, to not panic and stop panic buying essential items like petrol, diesel, and LPG cylinders. Talking to people, CM Mann assured that supplies were not short and cautioned against black marketing and hoarding.

"There is no need whatsoever to queue up at fuel pumps or hoard LPG cylinders. All supplies are in control. Whoever is selling basic commodities at high prices or practicing black marketing should be reported to the Deputy Commissioner or any local government office," the Chief Minister added.

He stressed that certain ministers have been tasked with overseeing border constituencies, supplemented by other ministers, to facilitate grassroots enforcement of price restraint and management of supply chains.

This comfort from the CM follows in the wake of a big and decisive action by the Mann government to increase border security and combat narco-terrorism. In a major cabinet decision, the Punjab government cleared the deployment of nine sophisticated anti-drone systems along the international border to counter the drone-operated drug and weapons smuggling activities of Pakistan.

The deployment is a first-of-its-kind initiative by any state government, showing very strong political will to deal with terrorism and the narcotics trade that feeds it.

"Mann Sarkar Ka Action—A Major Step to Break the Back of Terrorism," a top official said, indicating the government's aggressive approach.

The AAP-led government has announced a full-fledged action mode to disband the network that supports terrorism via drug trafficking. The high-tech drone-killing devices will now serve as an important line of defense, intercepting and disabling cross-border smugglers' drones.

"Punjab stands prepared to thwart every Pakistani conspiracy—high-tech surveillance will now guard our borders," a cabinet spokesperson stated.

With these bold steps, the Mann government has strengthened border security like never before, sending a clear message of zero tolerance towards threats to Punjab's peace and stability.

The state leadership's message is clear: Remain calm, have faith in the system, and collaborate with the administration to keep Punjab safe and secure.
