NEET MDS 2021 counseling today, check all important details here

The NEET MDS 2021 counseling for admissions would begin from Friday (August 20, 2021) and would end on September 10, 2021.

NEET-MDS-2021-Counselling NEET-MDS-2021-admissions National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance-Test

Counseling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for MDS 2021 admissions would begin today. The counseling would be conducted between August 20, 2021, and September 10, 2021. The counseling sessions would be conducted virtually and candidates may check details, related to it, on the official website - mcc.nic.in.

According to the released schedule by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) first round of counseling would end on August 24, 2021 and the seat allotting process would occur on August 25, 2021 and August 26, 2021. The result would be declared on August 27, 2021 and the student has to report to the allotted college between August 28, 2021 and September 1, 2021. 

The second round would start on September 7, 2021 and would be concluded on September 10, 2021. The seats would be allotted on September 11, 2021 and September 12, 2021. The result would be declared on September 13, 2021 and the student has to report to the allotted college between September 14, 2021 and September 18, 2021.

According to the official notification, MCC would conduct counseling for the following universities or institutions: 

a) 50% All India Quota seats of all states except J&K.

b) 100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/ Central Institutes as per eligibility conditions mentioned in Important Questions related to Scheme of Counselling duly uploaded on MCC website.

c) 100% seats of Deemed Universities.

d) 50% AIQ P.G seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation (wards of ESIC insured persons).

e) All P.G seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions (only Registration part).

f) Central Institutes, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS & RML Hospital and ESIC Institute, PGIMSR, Basaidarapur(50% All India Quota seats and 50% seats of I.P University).

Important documents a student must carry for MDS counseling 2021:

  • NEET MDS result as well as admit card
  • Mark sheets of BDS (all three years) and BDS degree completion certificate
  • Verified internship completing certificate
  • Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by Medical Council of India or State Medical Council
  • One identity proof – PAN card, Aadhar Card, Passport, or Voter ID card
  • SC/ ST or OBC certificate, if any
  • Disability certificate issued by the medical board

The counseling is scheduled seven months later of the conduct of the examination. The result was declared on December 31, 2020.
