Once again the netizens have taken the charge of Twitter and are heavily criticizing the central government. #WhereIsPM is trending on Twitter today. The users are seen commenting on the current situation of coronavirus in the country. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is busy campaigning for the 2021 elections.

India has reported record-breaking numbers of fresh corona cases in a single day. About 2, 17,353 new corona cases and 1,185 fatalities are recorded in the last 24 hours in the country. Meanwhile, elections 2021 are conducted in the nation, and coronavirus cases are spiking in poll-bound states. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also campaigning aggressively for his party.

Taking the current situation into account, Netizens are storming the internet with questions and asking PM to be accountable for the situation.

The official Twitter account of Congress tweeted, “Mr. Star Campaigner, The nation is in an emergency. Stop electioneering and start campaigning,” highlighting the increasing corona infection numbers.

Being extra creative on taunting on the issue, users are sharing a poster of Prime Minister Narendra Modi gone missing.

Users are also sharing the unfortunate incidents of corona patient’s deaths. One of the users wrote, “Country is going through complete destruction. Samson Ghat is full of corpses. There are no beds in the hospital for patients. All the PMs of the country are fighting with corona, But Modi is ready to contest elections. Neither the rally is closing nor the Kumbh Mela.”

The country is already suffering from vaccine shortage and the health system is collapsing as there is a shortage of beds and ventilators in hospitals. At the same time, corona cases are continuously increasing. The total tally of active cases has shot up to 14,291,917 cases and the death toll stands at 174,335.
