Chetan Singh Jauramajra, the newly appointed Health Minister in the Cabinet of the Punjab Government was today given a Guard of Honor at the Circuit House, Jalandhar. The leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party of Jalandhar were also present on the occasion.
He also visited Jalandhar's civil hospital. After giving the guard of honor, a press conference was held. He said that it was only four days since he took over the ministry and soon all the issues would be resolved by understanding the entire system and meeting the civil surgeons.
He also added that he was visiting the hospitals in all the sub-divisions and divisions and any shortcomings in them would be rectified soon. The medical colleges are being set up by our government so that the children who go abroad for education can get that facility in their own country.

Regarding the condition of the hospitals, he said that this was the reason why he was visiting all over the state to know the condition of those hospitals.
