Rhea Kapoor and KaranBoolani have been sharing pictures from their wedding. The two tied the knot onSaturday at her father Anil Kapoor's house.
Rhea opted for avintage look on her big day. She took to Instagram and shared a classy pictureof herself from her wedding. Along with the picture, she penned a thank younote for her mother Sunita Kapoor and others for ‘taking care of her’on her wedding day.
In her caption, sherevealed that she wore her mother’s jewellery. Her post read, “On my mostvulnerable day thank you for taking care of me. 14.8.21 My chanderi sari by@anamikakhanna.in my most non judgemental, patient friend. Earlier, sharing aphoto of herself and Karan, holding hands while dressed in ethnic outfits, Rheawrote a long note about how she was nervous at her wedding.
“12 years later, Ishouldn’t have been nervous or overwhelmed because you’re my best friend andthe best guy ever. But I cried and shook and had stomach flips all the waythrough because I didn’t know how humbling the experience would be. I’ll alwaysbe that girl who had to come home to Juhu at 11 pm before my parents fellasleep,” she wrote.
“Only until now Ididn’t know how lucky I was to feel torn. I hope we make a family so close thatwe have many, many loves of our life. Mine are @karanboolani @anilskapoor@kapoor.sunita @sonamkapoor and @harshvarrdhankapoor forever more," shewrote, tagging her entire family, including parents Anil and Sunita Kapoor andher siblings Sonam and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor.
Karan also shared aheartfelt post for Rhea. He wrote, "Yesterday we made it official to theworld… but you and I have been ride or die for over a decade and for that iwould like to thank four people who have given me a crazy amount of love, respect,encouragement and constant collaboration. First is a film producer, the secondis a fashion stylist.. the third is the mother of my daughter lemon and thefourth is the finest cook to have performed miracles in a domestic kitchen..andtheir names are Rhea Kapoor. To the best decision I’ve ever made. Here's to usand everything that awaits us together."
Karan Boolani workedas an assistant director with Rhea Kapoor on the 2010 film Aisha, whichstarred Sonam Kapoor in the lead role. He has been photographed with theKapoors on several occasions, including fam-jams and family functions.
