The Punjab government has extended the night curfew timingsin the state amid the sudden spike in the Covid-19 cases. As per the newtiming, the curfew will be imposed at 6 pm and will conclude at 5 am. However,the shops will have to shut down at 5 pm, an hour before the beginning of the nightcurfew.
The decision was announced by Punjab Congress PresidentSunil Jhakhar after a Cabinet meeting held on Monday.
