The Punjab government has extended the night curfew timings
in the state amid the sudden spike in the Covid-19 cases. As per the new
timing, the curfew will be imposed at 6 pm and will conclude at 5 am. However,
the shops will have to shut down at 5 pm, an hour before the beginning of the night
curfew.
The decision was announced by Punjab Congress President Sunil Jhakhar after a Cabinet meeting held on Monday.
