The Punjab and Haryana High Court did not grant relief to Shaganpreet, a close aide of the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. In the Middukhera murder case, Shaganpreet had asked the High Court for anticipatory bail. Shagan's lawyer said that at first, his name was not mentioned in the case. The police later joined. However, the HC said that it is a controversial matter. The status report of the Middukhera murder case has been sought in this case.

Apart from this, Shaganpreet had described that he has a threat from gangsters Lawrence and Goldy Brar. In this case, HC asked where is Shaganpreet at present? His lawyer stated that he is currently in Australia. In response, the High Court questioned how dangerous the situation is if he is now abroad. According to Shaganpreet's lawyer, he wants to return to India. Although he will come to India, no affidavit has been filed regarding this. The High Court then adjourned the case's hearing until July 4.

He is an accused in the Middukhera murder case. He used to handle all of Moosewala's shows. However, his identity surfaced in connection with Middukhera's murder in Mohali in August of last year.

Then it was claimed that he was connected to the assassins of Middukhera murderer Kaushal Chaudhary, according to the Delhi Police's investigation.

Shaganpreet fled to Australia when his name was revealed in the Middukhera murder case. Since then, he has resided there. Shaganpreet may have received assistance from Moosewala to flee to Australia, according to the Lawrence gang who assassinated Moosewala. It is also likely that the Lawrence gang murdered Moosewala due to their enmity.
