UnionHome Minister Amit Shah on Sunday declined to confirm or deny his purportedmeeting with NCP supremo Sharad Pawar.
"Everythingcannot be made public," he said to a question on the meeting during apress conference at his residence.
Gujaratimedia had reported that Shah met Pawar and senior Nationalist Congress Partyleader and former Union Minister Praful Patel in Ahmedabad.
Hiscryptic comment left everyone guessing even as reports about the meeting hadtriggered speculations amid the political crisis in Maharashtra in wake offormer former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh's serious chargesagainst state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, of the NCP.
