Rominder Randhawa and Sukhchainjeet Randhawa, Canada based NRI couple inaugurated ‘Multi Media (WiFi) Lab’ at Government High School of their native village, Simbli in Hoshiarpur on Saturday.

Rominder Randhwa, who himself, is an old student of the school and has also been honoured with ‘Best Principal Award’ in Canada, has donated funds for setting up multimedia lab to enable the students to have access to the digital education so that they could face the challenges of the present era.

He has also donated as many as 50 rims of papers, inverter Rs 21000 for CCTV cameras and Rs 25000 for school library.

School Headmistress, Minakshi Bhalla lauded the kind gesture of the NRI couple for donating funds for completing the Smart School parameters.

School Management Committee, staff and Block Mentors, school in-charges of complex schools were present on the occasion.
