RominderRandhawa and Sukhchainjeet Randhawa, Canada based NRI couple inaugurated ‘MultiMedia (WiFi) Lab’ at Government High School of their native village, Simbli inHoshiarpur on Saturday.
RominderRandhwa, who himself, is an old student of the school and has also beenhonoured with ‘Best Principal Award’ in Canada, has donated funds for settingup multimedia lab to enable the students to have access to the digitaleducation so that they could face the challenges of the present era.
Hehas also donated as many as 50 rims of papers, inverter Rs 21000 for CCTVcameras and Rs 25000 for school library.
SchoolHeadmistress, Minakshi Bhalla lauded the kind gesture of the NRI couple fordonating funds for completing the Smart School parameters.
SchoolManagement Committee, staff and Block Mentors, school in-charges of complexschools were present on the occasion.
