Oh My God 2 is among the most awaited sequel of Akshay Kumar's blockbuster movie named 'Oh My God' in which he played the character of God who came on Earth in human form to guide Kanji Bhai (Paresh Rawal). Although Oh My God was a blockbuster it had received a major flak from a section of media for mocking Gods. Keeping the controversies aside, Oh My God 2 is among the many sequels of Akshay Kumar which is slated to release in the upcoming years. In the new poster, Akshay Kumar can be seen in the avatar of Lord Shiva and fans are mesmerized by the actor's divine look. Oh My God 2 Release date

On Friday morning, Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram account and revealed that the film will release in theatres on 11th August, 2023. Helmed by Amit Rai, OMG 2 stars Yami Gautam, Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi along with Arun Govil, and Abhinay Raj Singh in key roles. The satirical comedy-drama film is the sequel to OMG and revolves around the subject of the Indian education system. Interestingly, Akshay Kumar's OMG 2 will clash with Sunny Deol's much-awaited movie Gadar 2 and Rajnikanth's much-awaited movie Jailer. Sunny Deol's Gaddar 2 is released in theaters on August 11, 2023, on the other hand, Rajnikanth's Jailer will be released on August 10, 2023.

Talking about Akshay Kumar's upcoming projects, he will also be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan along with Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F. The movie is scheduled to release on Diwali in 2024. Not only this, but Akshay Kumar is also working in the comedy classic movie Hera Pheri 3.
