In order to prepare a meticulous plan to give a concrete shapeto "Mission Shat Pratishat" at the ground level, a 'OrientationWorkshop' for the teams of Zila Sikhiya Sudhar Teams and Block Nodal Officers wasorganised under the aegis of State Council of Educational research andTraining at PSEB auditorium, here today.
The Education Secretary, Krishan Kumar, in his address exhortedthem to exert their nerves to analyse the statistical data of the progressreport of the each and every student in different subjects in houseexaminations so that a micro planning could be formulated to bring improvementin performance of the students in the ensuing annual examinations.
He also asked them to come forward with their innovativeideas and suggestions regarding enhancement of enrolment in the academicsession 2021-22.
He asked them to ensure in depth monitoring while striking propercoordination with the school heads, teachers and students exhibiting acumenbehavioural skills to motivate them to accomplish "Mission ShatPratishat".
As the "Mission Shat Pratishat" has been launched by theChief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh, on November 7, last year, hence, theSchool Education Department has made a comprehensive plan to facilitate theteachers and the students by providing them learning material , ModelQuestion Papers, practice sheets as per the reduced syllabus of differentsubjects of Board Classes.
The dedicated teams comprising district and block mentors, blocknodal officers and Zila Sikhiya Sudhar have been ensuring that the requisiteteaching-learning material, model question papers and practice sheets shouldreach to the concerned teachers and students.
"The teachers have already done commendable job by providingdigital education facility to the students during the closure of schoolsbraving challenge posed by unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. Nowthey have accepted this challenge and taking extra classes both physically andvirtually to achieve the goal" further said the Education Secretary, whileasking them to ensure proper adherence to theCOVID-19 precautions in schools sothat proper care of health of the students and teachers could be taken care of.
The teams have also been mobilising teachers and students to makethe optimum utilisation of Punjab Educare App as well as the Smart Classroomsset up in the schools', said the Education Secretary while asking the districtand block level officials to have a brain storming session to evolve innovativeplanning by sharing good practices with each other to achieve the desired goal.
The Team Uncharged and BNOs from different districts showed theirpower point presentation to share their micro planning as well as goodpractices during the workshop.
The Director SCERT,Jagtar Singh Kulrhia, ASPD( Math), NirmalKaur, Chander Shekhar, Jasvir Singh Sekhon,Dr.Harpal Bajak, Baldev Singh (State Resouce Pesons) also interacted with the participants and gave valuabletips for accomplishing "Mission Shat Pratishat" .
