The Oscars 2023 was a star-studded affair with actors, filmmakers and everyone from film sectors around the world attending the event. The Last of Us fame actor Pedro Pascal also attended the event and looked dapper in a black tuxedo. Pedro Pascal has become a household name ever since his show The Last of us has broken multiple records worldwide. However, Pedro had to face an awkward moment when he arrived on stage along with Elizabeth Olsen to announce Best Animated Short Film.

While announcing the nominations, Pedro tried to drive the awkward situation away and jokingly said, "In just 24 minutes, 1 nominee even managed to fit-in an entire year worth of...", Elizabeth tried to pull Pedro's leg and asked, "What Pedro?" The Last of Us actor replied, "You will find out when you watch out." The Avengers star replied, "How thrilling..here are the nominees."

For those unware, Pedro was talking about animated short film- 'My Year of Dicks'.

About 'My Year of Dicks'

My Year of Dicks is a 2022 American animated short film directed by Sara Gunnarsdóttir, created and written by Pamela Ribon. The film was based on Pamela Ribon's 2014 comedic memoir Notes to Boys: And Other Things I Shouldn't Share in Public. It's 1991, and Pam – a stubborn, imaginative 15-year-old from the outskirts of Houston – embarks on a comedic journey of disappointment and self-discovery as she seeks the right boy to lose her virginity with so she can become the fully realized woman she's imagined herself to be.
