Mukesh-Ambani Antilla Bomb-Scare

In a major twist to the story of the bomb scare near Ambani’s residence Antilla, the owner whose explosive-laden Scorpio car was abandoned near Antilla on February 26, was found dead in mysterious condition on Friday, at Kalwa creek, revealed Thane DCP. The owner - identified as Mansukh Hiran - died by suicide by jumping into Kalwa creek, claim police. An Accidental Death Report (ADR) has been registered in the Mumbra police station. During the interrogation, Hiran told investigating teams that his vehicle had been stolen. According to sources, Hiran’s family had filed a missing complaint at Naupada Police station this morning, after he went missing last night. The body was recovered from Kalwa creek around 10.25 AM.

The case is fishy: Ex-CM demands probe

Meanwhile, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has described the entire chain of events as 'fishy' and demanded that the investigation be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

"I asked the House for protection to Mansukh Hiren, as he's the main link in the case and might be in danger. Now we get to know of his body being found. It makes the case fishy. Looking at this alleged terror angle, we demand that case be handed over to NIA," Fadnavis told reporters outside the Assembly. He also attacked Uddhav Thackeray’s government for taking the case lightly and ignoring Mukesh Ambani's security.
