Pakistanresorted to unprovoked firing at Indian positions on the Line of Control (LoC)on Monday in Tangdhar sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.
Defencesources said Pakistan army initiated ceasefire violation on the LoC in theTangdhar sector on Monday afternoon by using small arms and automatics.
"Indianarmy retaliates befittingly", sources said. Tilllast reports came in, intermittent firing exchanges were still going on in thearea.
Thereare no reports of any casualty or damage to property on the Indian side of theLoC so far.
