Moments after Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his strong-worded speech after reaching the ceasefire, multiple drones were witnessed on the Indian border yet again. India's Air Defence System's vigilance was on display yet again as it shot down multiple Pakistani drones. The bordering state of Punjab was among the states that witnessed the Pakistani drones yet again. A video from Mirpur village in Jalandhar has gone viral on social media. A resident named Jagdeep Singh recorded the footage of a Pakistani drone that was shot down by India in the sky itself.
Jagdeep explained that around 9:15 PM, he stepped outside his home and noticed a bright white light moving rapidly in the sky. Moments later, he saw four to five red lights before what appeared to be a drone was destroyed mid-air. Jagdeep further stated that the explosion was loud enough to be heard in neighboring villages as well. Shortly after the incident, he received a call from the sarpanch of a nearby village who informed him that army personnel had arrived on the scene to investigate.
Jagdeep claimed that despite searching the area with local residents, no drone debris or evidence of damage was found. He expressed concern that the explosion occurred just three kilometers away from a local police post, suggesting that police officers likely heard the sound as well. Jagdeep added that he live-streamed the incident on social media, urging people to turn off their lights. Later, he uploaded a second video that also went viral.

What happened in Punjab on Monday night?
Moments after PM Modi's address to the nation in which he warned Pakistan over terrorism and any kind of misadventure, drones were sighted near Jalandhar, Punjab. As a precautionary measure, Jalandhar DC Himanshu Aggarwal informed that lights near some areas near Suranassi have been switched off.
Jalandhar DC in a statement said, "As a precautionary measure lights have been switched off in some areas around Suranassi as there have been reports of some drones sightings. We are verifying them. An Indigo flight that was scheduled to land at Amritsar airport at 9:10 pm had to return to Delhi. This flight was not allowed to land here. The reason for this is said to be a blackout in the district at present.
Blackout in Hoshairpur
Even though there is a ceasefire on the borders between India and Pakistan, the alert is still on in the border districts of Punjab. Due to this, there is a blackout in Amritsar again today. Sirens blared and residents were advised to stay indoors and away from windows. Also, the flight coming from Delhi was not allowed to land here and was returned to Delhi.
At the same time, there was a blackout in Hoshiarpur, and sirens blared in the region. A few reports suggested that explosions had also been heard, but True Scoop cannot verify this claim.
Hoshiarpur Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain said, "We are declaring a precautionary partial blackout in the areas of Dasuya and Mukerian for some time...I appeal to the residents of Hoshiarpur to observe a voluntary blackout on their part and stay inside their homes. There is no need to panic..."
