Ever since the Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh has unearthed the fake TRP racket and named Republic TV in it, the channel is facing some serious hardships. Although Republic's name is nowhere in the FIR, Mumbai Police claims that witnesses have named Republic TV for bribing them to watch their channel.

Recently, Bajaj Autos blacklisted three channels for advertising on account of spreading toxicity and hate-mongering in society. Rajiv Bajaj, MD, Bajaj Auto said, "We all are in the business of building brands and a strong brand is a foundation on which you build a strong business. And at the end of the day, as everybody would agree, the purpose of a strong and solid business is to contribute not only to the business itself but also to the society at large."

"At Bajaj, for example, we are very clear that our brand would never be associated with anything that we feel, beyond reasonable doubt, is a source of toxicity in our society," he added.

Now, Parle has joined the course of Bajaj Autos to blacklist the three media channels which are under the Mumbai Police scanner. Indian Civil Liberties Union took to twitter and informed that Parle will blacklist these media channels on the grounds of 'toxicity'.

It wrote, "Parle Products has decided not to advertise on news channels that broadcast toxic aggressive content. These channels are not the kinds that the company wants to put money into as it does not favour its target consumer. It's time more companies join the lead of Bajaj and Parle."
