India has been struck hard by the second wave of the coronavirus. The virus has infected a number of actors in the film industry. Last week, TV actor Aniruddh Dave tested positive for Covid-19. However, his condition has worsened, and he is now in an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) in a Mumbai hospital. Actress Aastha Chaudhary shared the news on Instagram. Aniruddh is well-known for his shows such as Patiala Babes and Lockdown Ki Love Story.
Aastha Chaudhary used her Instagram stories to keep her followers up to date on his fitness. She wrote, “Need prayers for our friend @aniruddh_dave. He is in ICU. Plz spare a min and do pray for him”. The actor was diagnosed with Covid-19 while filming a web series in Bhopal. According to reports, his oxygen level fluctuated, causing him to be admitted to the ICU.
Last week, Dave told his fans that he had tested positive for Covid-19. He made the announcement on Instagram, “Chaha toh bohot ki tumse mulaqat na ho. Woh kahawat hai na bakre ki amma kab tak khair manayegi, bahar aao toh shikaar hona hi hai (I really wanted to never get Covid. As they say, a goat is never safe, he will be hunted down as soon as he steps out).”
On February 14, Aniruddh Dave and his wife Shubhi Dave welcomed a baby. The actor took to social media to inform his fans of the good news. He wrote a long note while carrying baby clothes in a photo.
