While the people of Punjab were still moving on from the Marinda sacrilege incident, another sacrilege (Beadbi) incident jolted the 'State of five rivers'. The latest incident took place in Patiala when a man entered Rajpura's Dukhniwaran Sahib Gurdwara without covering his head and shoes on and tried to commit the desecration of the holy book. As per reports, the man was handed over to the Police by the people present and the Sevadars of the Gurudwara, following which he was arrested. As per the initial investigation, it has been reported that the man is from Rajpura and he is a regular visitor of the Gurudwara. The man has been identified as Sahil. The Police have launched an investigation and are trying to know the modus operandi of the man who entered the Gurudwara bare-headed with his shoes on.
