In a road accident at the Sugar Mill Chownk, Phagwara one person hailed serious injuries. The accident took place when a truck was going from Srinagar to Delhi. Going on his way from the Sugar Mill Chownk, the truck went out of control and overturned in the middle of the road while trying to save the car going ahead.
The truck driver said that his partner suffered major injuries in the accident and has been admitted to Civil Hospital Phagwara.

Soon after the accident, there were long queues of vehicles on GT Road. The Phagwara police also reached the spot and took stock of the situation and with the help of JCB, the truck was moved to the side and the jam was cleared.
A person has been seriously injured in this accident and has been admitted to the Civil Hospital. The doctor said that the injured person is being treated at the hospital and his life is out of danger.
