To avoid paying the fee for extra baggage, an airline passenger opted for a technique that has made her a viral sensation online. Gel Rodriguez of Philippines, instead of paying for her excess baggage, wore many of her clothes that she had packed into her suitcase. And there you go! The weight of her suitcase reduced.
In a Facebook post, Gel explained that she was informed while checking-in her baggage at the counter at the airport that her carry-on luggage exceeded the maximum weight of 7kg. It weighed 9kg. To reduce the weight of her luggage, she unpacked her suitcase and took out several clothes. She wore most of them and that brought down the weight of the suitcase to 6.5kg.
