PICS: Father In Law Mithun Chakraborty surprise visit on Anupamaa’s show set

Mithun Chakraborty, the veteran Bollywood superstar, recently paid a surprise visit to his daughter-in-law Madalsa Sharma on the sets of Anupamaa. For the unversed, Madalsa is married to Mimoh aka Mahaakshay, the actor's son, with Yogeeta Bali.

The show's production house and Rajan Shahi's Directors Kut Production published photos of the actor's visit on social media.

The pictures were captioned, "Thank you so much @mithunchakrabortyofficial, for the surprise visit to the #anupamaa set! @rupaliganguly @sudanshu_pandey @madalsasharma @alpanabuch19 @arvindvaidya3 @paras_kalnawat @tassnim_nerurkar @nidz_20 @muskanbamne."

On his visit to the sets to see his daughter-in-law, the actor wore a grey kurta and black pajamas with a shawl around his neck and a cap. Madalsa is seen in the show as Kavya, who is a crucial role.

Not only the production company but also the show's lead, Rupali Ganguly, who plays the titular character, uploaded a photo with the veteran actor, along with a heartfelt remark that read, "When Happy memories come visiting The first time I ever faced the camera was with him when I was 4 yrs old My first Hindi film as a heroine was with him … (set par Pappa aur inse bohot daant padti thi!) (I had received a lot of scolding from him and my dad) He is the person who always admonished me for not taking myself seriously as an actor Elated and Overwhelmed beyond measure when he said he is proud of me and that my performance moved him to tears ….. aur kya chahiye …. Aise laga jaise mehnat safal ho gayi  (What else do I need. Alpana Buch, Rupali's co-star, also shared a photo with the legendary actor, saying, "I had bunked my college in order to see his film. He came on my Anupama set today and said, "I'm still watching your show." I was praised for my performance. What else does an actor desire? Thank you, God... I've never asked you for so much....thank you, Mithun da."

Paras Kalnawat, who plays Anupamaa's son in the show, shared a video a few days ago in which he, Madalsa, Anagha Bhosale, and Mimoh were seen dancing to Justin Wellington's Iko Iko.

Anupamaa is now the most popular show on Indian television, with regular TRP ratings in the millions.
