On Thursday, Mohali police revealed that the gangster Gaurav alias Lucky Patial, who was in the Armenia jail, had murdered Vicky Middukheda in Mohali. Vikramjit Singh alias Vicky Middukheda was a close aide of former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and former head of Student Organization of India (SOI) in Mohali.
In this case, the police have identified two people, Sajjan alias Bhola resident and Anil alias Lath. A case has been registered against both the accused and investigation is still going. The police are still searching the accused and both are escapees.

Around seven months ago, Yuva Akali Dal leader Vicky Middukhera was murdered in Mohali.
Earlier, Former councilor Sukhmeet Singh alias Sukhmeet Deputy who was released from jail on parole in an infamous Mikki Kidnapping and Ransom case was shot dead in broad daylight by Gaurav Patial and his mates at the Gazi Gulla area.
The incident took place when the deceased was crossing the Gopal Nagar area near Gazi Gulla this afternoon. As per reports, nearly a dozen bullets were fired into his body. The eyewitnesses told the police that around four men carrying fire weapons, who arrived in an I10 car, fired bullets on Sukhmeet who was on his motorcycle.
