Celebrity couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas on Friday announced the arrival of their baby via surrogate on their social media handle on January 21. Priyanka took to Instagram and shared a note stating that they are overjoyed to welcome their baby via surrogate.
"We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family,” shared Priyanka.
According to PEOPLE publications, the couple who got married in 2018, planned to purchase their mansion with a view of growing their family in 2019.
"When they bought the house together, they had children in mind," the source told PEOPLE publications. "They were hoping to have kids and needed a place with a lot of outdoor space and greenery."
The property they purchased was the most expensive property sold in Encino for a whopping amount of USD $20 million. The source also revealed that the couple spent months in renovating their new home. “They wanted to make it more family-friendly," they share.
The power couple welcomed their daughter 12 months before the due date via surrogate. The couple's child was born at a hospital in Southern California on the outskirts of Las Vegas. Till the time child gets healthy, Priyanka and Nick will keep her in hospital.
